Making New Year's Resolutions

Updated: Jan 14

Greetings Divine child —

Welcome to the New Year! This is a wonderful time to take inventory of your previous year's accomplishments (and setbacks) so that you can gain clarity on your desired direction for the year ahead.

While reviewing your past year, notice how you felt about your experiences, making note of what you enjoyed and what you would like to let go of. As you do this, be as detailed as you can, focusing on the experiences that most impacted you. Your experiences create your feelings. This is where you find your truth — in your feelings. Your feelings are only for you, no one else needs to know what they are. Therefore, it is imperative that you be as honest with yourself as possible.

After taking the time needed to review your past, take some time to visualize what you would love to experience in your future. What do you want your future to feel like? Again, try to be as honest with yourself as possible. As you visualize what you want, notice how you feel about it. Do you believe it's possible? Do you believe you're worthy of it?

Remember to focus on the feelings you feel — the sensations in your body. This will help you uncover your truth. The skill of listening to yourself may take time to hone, so keep practicing. Sit quietly with yourself. Ask yourself the questions outlined above and then listen to your body's reaction, taking note of each sensation. If what you want is a larger salary, say what it is you want. Then notice how your body responds. Do I feel worthy? Do I feel motivated and excited? Or do I feel unworthy? Do I feel doubtful and fearful? If so, that's okay; those feelings are useful information. Now you know what emotional blockages you need to work on in order to create the life you want.

You can create anything. Your powers are limitless. But you must believe.

Eternally yours,

— D.p.

Remember who you are — you are Divine Love.
